Catherine Haley
I attended University of Southern California where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Later I obtained a Masters Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Hayward. My law degree is from University of San Francisco.
I was born and raised in California and grew up in Alameda County. I also lived in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties for different periods of time.
I opened a solo law practice in Oakland when I finished law school. I have been practicing law in the Haley Landmark Building for my entire legal career of more than 16 years.
During my years working as a lawyer I have handled cases from a variety of areas law including: landlord-tenant, personal injury, civil rights, family law, probate, real property, contracts, juvenile criminal law, and adult criminal law. I have written appeals and litigated judge and jury trials. I currently maintain a general practice, and I am focusing on custody and probate litigation.
I offer my clients the unique benefit of my experience accumulated over more than 16 years of practicing law in such a rich variety of fields.
I enjoy assisting clients reach negotiated settlements as well as affording them a vigorous litigant when necessary.
